JOURNALING TO LIFT YOUR VIBRATION

Recently, I was going through some pressures and for a moment I was going to feel sorry for myself. I was going to mope.

I was going to go full out feeling shitty. But I thought about it and decided I was going to feel this out and then shift this energy.

A few months after leaving my corporate job, while my clients were getting kick ass results from my coaching and courses, I was drowning in debt and my money was drying up.   

I was in a perpetual state of worry about when my next client or course sale was coming in and I stopped my focus on journaling about being an author and started focusing on my business.

I was constantly trying to figure out what was going wrong.  Finally, I was down to my last 

and I was ready to hear what Guidance had been saying to me all along.  My money mindset was hurting.

What did I do?

I pulled out a journal and wrote. I wrote what I felt and the reasons why.   No holds barred!  I put it all out there.  All of the gunk I was feeling, I laid it out on that piece of paper.

I asked Guidance what I should do.  For more about what I heard you can read HERE.

As I kept writing and I started to shift it pretty naturally.

3 REASONS WHY JOURNALING WORKS TO LIFT YOUR VIBRATION

REASON 1: AWARENESS



If you read any of my articles you will know that AWARENESS is always the FIRST STEP!  When you hide the truth from yourself, you just continue to mire in the same stuff over and over.

When triggers popup it is a gift.  However, you will not receive the benefit of your gift until you truly allow yourself to RECEIVE IT!

Once I allowed myself to stop and receive the awareness of what I was really feeling without filter, I could move on to the next step.

REASON 2: ACKNOWLEDGMENT




Now that you received the awareness of what you are truly feeling, the next step is to acknowledge it without judgment. 

Think of these feelings or thoughts as your children, someone you love and adore or your pet.  You have unconditional love for that person. 

Your observation is shining a light on the shadows you normally hide.

REASON 3: APPRECIATION




You are aware and you acknowledged what is REALLY GOING ON.  So what is next? 

Appreciation, Love and Acceptance.  

Like I said in Reason 2, the triggers (thoughts, feelings or not so good feeling emotions) that are coming up are gifts that should be treated like someone or something that you truly love and care for.

No judgment about not wanting to feel like this.  No hiding because you think it is bad.  Only love, accept and APPRECIATE (yes APPRECIATE) what you feel.

In summary, I began to shift mainly because I finally:

  • 1) I allowed myself to stop and be aware of what I was feeling without a filter  

  • 2) I acknowledged how I was feeling and

  • 3) I looked at it from a place of love and acceptance vs. judgment.

 

Once I allowed myself to become aware of what was in my mind, I allowed myself to release it all and it became pretty funny.  

My upset became laughter. My tears of sadness became tears of job. I acknowledged the truth which was what I allowed to bother me really wasn’t the truth.  

It actually didn’t make any logical sense at all.


After I was able to start thinking about what my Inner Being/Source/God/The Universe (whatever name you apply to Infinite Intelligence and Love) would think about what I initially wrote, I started writing from that perspective.

The perspective of truth.

Guess what?

After a matter of fewer than 10 minutes, I was in a completely different place.

I knew my worth and I knew that what I was thinking about myself before was pure and utter BS.

How do you do Journal to Lift Your Vibration?

JOURNAL TO LIFT YOUR VIBRATION IN 4 EASY STEPS

 

STEP 1: AWARENESS WITHOUT FILTER

Write about what you are thinking and why you think the way you do. 

Be honest with yourself.  The key here is to be truthful to the point of revealing the things you may be super embarrassed or horrified to acknowledge that you truly think about yourself or your situation.

Really why do you feel the way you do about whatever it is you are resisting.

 

 

STEP 2: IS THIS BENEFICIAL FOR YOU

Write about whether this is useful for you or not. Is it beneficial for you to believe this?

Is it a perspective that you adopted along your journey. Show yourself the reasons why this isn’t beneficial. The internet is a great place to find anything you want to.

So instead of searching for cat videos, search for amazing stories showing you that whatever you are scared of isn’t real for you. Awesome stories showing you someone who has done what you are scared of.

 

 

STEP 3: CHOOSE WHAT IS BENEFICIAL

Choose your new thought/belief about whatever you were resisting.

Isn’t it amazing that you have a CHOICE. Now you can choose for you and I am assuming you do not want to subscribe to that resistant idea anymore.

 

 

STEP 4: HOW TO YOU CHOOSE TO FEEL

Write about HOW you NOW FEEL about whatever you were previously resisting.  

Your feelings will have shifted to a new place. You can now write about how awesome it will feel when you do whatever you are being led to do.

 

 

 

HOW LONG IT SHOULD TAKE:  10 MINUTES OR LESS

You can get this done in less than 10 minutes and be off taking your inspired action with more ease!

PROMPT 1: If I knew it was truly safe for me to say what I am truly feeling, what would that be?

 

PROMPT 2: And what else am I embarrassed to admit to myself?

 

PROMPT 3: What else am I too ashamed to admit that I believe about this situation?

 

PROMPT 4: Is it useful for me to believe this?  How is this situation actually working for me?  What have I gotten out of it?

 

PROMPT 5: Is whatever I am choosing to believe is even true?

PROMPT 6: What is true?  What would my Higher Self (my Soul, Source, The Universe, God) tell me about this situation?

PROMPT 7: What do I now choose to believe?  What is now true about this situation?

PROMPT 8: How do I choose to feel about this?

PROMPT 9: What is my aligned next action so that I can gain momentum and solidify this new belief?
